This is the longest passage we offer, following the route John Steinbeck describes in his Log of the Sea of Cortez.
We will go far north in to the Sea of Cortez, past Loreto, Bahia Concepcion, Santa Rosalia and Bahia de los Angeles. Few sailors make it this far, where the currents and tides behave completely different to the southern and central part of the Sea. The scenery and wildlife are impressive and Puerto Refugio on Angel de la Guarda Island is one of the most spectacular anchorages you will ever come across.
This trip usually starts in La Paz and heads north to circumnavigate Angel de la Guarda, concluding at Santa Rosalia, a truly unique Mexican town with mostly wooden houses and a church designed by Gustave Eiffel.
