Our training options are designed to best balance our client’s time constraints and expectations, with 2 to 12-day programs.

As our sailing yacht is constantly on the move, the route may depend on the dates that accommodate you to join us.

All courses offer the option to stay aboard, in which case a slight premium applies to the course price to cover meals and sleeping arrangements. Longer liveaboard courses enable us to sail farther from your port of embarkation, and then offer you the opportunity to explore inland on your way home.

Contact us to discuss your date, course and route options and we’ll help you tailor a unique sailing vacation in the sea that Jacques Cousteau called the “Aquarium of the World”.

Milecatchers

There simply is not better way to appreciate the beauty of the Sea of Cortez than by boat and no better way to gain real life experience at sea than by planning and executing a passage.

Together, we will design a trip that meets both your sailing and exploration objectives, island hopping along the Baja or mainland coasts. It is an excellent option for those aiming for further yachting qualifications.

During the first hours of the trip, we will discuss your previous experience, objectives, strengths and weaknesses and develop a plan from there. Your responsibilities on board might include all elements of a formal passage plan as well as its execution, night watches, cooking, cleaning, maintenance, repairs and victualing.

Please have a look at our catalogue of MileCatcher journeys to get an idea of the routes we usually offer. We are also open to discuss any other routes you may be considering, including crossings to Los Mochis, for those wishing to explore inland Mexico via the Chepe Express Railway, and longer hauls to Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo and Acapulco.
